American Goosefish (Lophius americanus)

This sub-species of anglers, also be called the American Angler, the monkfish, or the fishing frog, is especially common off the east coast of the United States. With a mouth over twice the width of its tail, goosefish will open their massive jaws and swallow pretty much anything that fits inside - including unsuspecting sea birds peacefully riding waves at the surface.
